Beth Burcham is a
Licensed Psychotherapist working in private practice in Boulder Colorado since 1997. Beth
earned a Masters Degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from the
Naropa University in Boulder Colorado.
Beth became a therapist because she
has a strong passion for the depth and intensity that lives inside the
Human Being. She believes that connecting to one's inner world is of
utmost importance for happiness, heath, stability, and life
fulfillment. There are so many complex layers and intricacies of a
person. Therapy is an intimate, inquisitive process that explores
these areas that are hard to find on one's own. Beth loves helping
people uncover what lives inside of them. She is committed to
assisting others in their understanding of what is not working for
them, what patterns need to be transformed and what changes can be made
for a feeling of peace and contentment.
Beth sees herself as a Therapist,
Mentor, Life Coach, Spiritual Counselor, and an Assistant in deep
transformation and personal growth. Beth
is an interactive
therapist. She gently guides her clients with questions, intuitions,
and reflections. She can help one shift perspective in a positive and
peaceful way, changing life long patterns of stress and discomfort. It
is Beth's hope to shed light on part's of the self
that has been hidden in the shadows. Her desire is to bring resolution,
clarity, insight, vision, healing, joy, light, sense of Spirit, and an
understanding of one's life purpose to individuals, couples, families,
and groups.
She enjoys working with people in
order to guide them to find greater self awareness, fulfillment, and a
way of living from a place of authentic Self. Her intention is to be
present, honest and respectful with her clients. Beth would be a good
fit for a client who is wanting real transformation and is willing to
delve deep inside themselves to discover innate Wisdom. Beth helps people, with the therapeutic process, to gain a sense of hope, rejuvenation, ease, and belonging.

regain a connection to themselves and others, build a sense of intimacy
and contentment, and revitalize holistic health and a sense of the
sacred and the meaningful.
Beth has been
on her own path of self-refection and transformation since she was a
child. She has a daily meditation practice, a deep yoga practice, and
a background in dance. She is a lover of Nature, Sacred Ritual,
Existential and Buddhist Philosophy and the Healing Arts. Beth
includes her vast experiences with these practices as tool when working
with clients.
Beth is a single mother to a beautiful
daughter. Beth understands the issues that can arise with intimate
relationships and the struggles when facing the many facets that go in
to having a family, going through break up and divorce, and parenting. Beth takes from both professional
experience and personal experience when working with clients.
Beth's services
offer various modalities and techniques that encourage the exploration
and transformation of one's Self. Beth feels that there are many paths
to travel the interpersonal terrain. Some of the tools Beth utilizes
in her work are Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Transpersonal Psychotherapy, Contemplative / Buddhist Psychology, EMDR,
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Existential Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. Beth works with Adults and Adolescents. Beth offers Individual, Couples, Family, and Group Therapy.
